Your Retreat In the Heart of the Lake District

We have been visiting the Lake District all of our lives and to us it is a special place, spectacular scenery, lots of walks and places to visit. 

We have stayed in many self-catering properties over a number of years and our aim is to create a place that feels like home. 

We spent several years looking for that special place in the area.

Somewhere with easy access to the fells combined with plenty of places to eat, have a drink in the evening and one where we are pleased to stay in and admire the view.

As soon as we saw  the loft we knew we had found it.

the loft is a blend of the traditional with the contemporary. 

A one bedroomed apartment with direct access to both the lakeland fells and the centre of Ambleside. 

Attention to detail has resulted in the loft being awarded 4 stars gold by the Visit England.

The living area is spacious and comfortable, with a wood burning stove. Open a bottle of your favourite drink, relax and enjoy!

The Kitchen is modern and fully equipped, with enough space to accommodate the keenest of chefs.

A private parking space add convenience, along with complementary WiFi and a blue tooth speaker to play your favourite music.

"Just returned from staying in this beautiful top floor apartment in a perfect location in Ambleside to be able to access the village and all the fantastic walks. The loft had amazing views, very airy and light, modern facilities but still managed to embrace the charm of the old building, with beams, log burner and stonework, creating a really romantic place.
